National Science Foundation (NSF) ADVANCE
Increasing the Participation and Advancement of Women in Academic Science and Engineering Careers (ADVANCE) Florida Atlantic University's ADVANCE Institutional Transformation-Catalyst (IT-Catalyst) program seeks to conduct self-assessment activities, such as basic data collection and analysis and the review of relevant policies and procedures, to provide the foundation necessary to undertake institutional transformation.

The goal of the National Science foundation’s (NSF) ADVANCE program is to increase the representation and advancement of women and underrepresented minorities (URMs) in academic science and engineering careers, thereby developing a more diverse science and engineering workforce.

NSF ADVANCE is promoting a resource that is available to all graduate students and faculty through the  Center for Faculty Diversity and Development . Members benefit from the online training programs and resources available that are aimed at improving work-life balance. FAU has an institutional membership for the next academic year; graduate students and faculty must register in order to access these benefits. Additionally for consistency please have the WILL tab read “Women’s Inspiration and Leadership League (WILL)” and the AWIS tab read “Association of Women in Science (AWIS)”.
